We are truly happy to have received so much feedback from our WebMo users. WebMo, the software for Monitoring and Collaboration is definitely a better tool thanks to you, as we endlessly try to incorporate all what is important to you in the tool. By now, over 60 projects and organisations are using WebMo, so it wasn't easy to incorporate all the feedback received, but as always, we are happy to keep hearing further comments on how to continue improving WebMo, in order to deliver you with the best tool. Thanks to the latest feedback we have compiled, we have a couple new features that we…

How to download your report
In the past couple months, we have made a huge improvement to our reporting section. Namely, we have made it possible to download your logframe into MS Word by date, including a factsheet of your project!
Previously, downloading your logframe was only possible showing the current progress of indicators and activities, and only that, just the logframe (no factsheet of your project). We quickly realized that sometimes it was necessary to have a historic overview of the progress in past dates, as well as further information about your project (factsheet). For this reason, we…
A Warm Welcome to Our New Customers!
We are pleased to have been commissioned by a number of new (and old) customers in recent months. We are looking forward to a successful cooperation!
The Global Energy Transformation Programme (GET.pro) has commissioned us to set up a WebMo for the Covenant of Mayors in Sub-Saharan Africa (CoM SSA) initiative to allow common monitoring and reporting of its four implementing partners. A master logframe will compile information from the different organizations’ logframes and from information provided at country level covering different levels of indicators. This supra-regional…
energypedia consult in Latin America!
Hola!
So, energypedia consult goes to Nicaragua! This is the first time for us as a company in Latin America. We have had some projects with clients in Latin America before, but all implementations were remote, so this is the first time we actually visit any country there.
This time we will be presenting WebMo to Centro Humboldt in Managua. Centro Humboldt is an non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of territorial development through sustainable management of the environment and natural resources.
Since I am a native Spanish speaker, I will present…
Swimming in an Ocean of Developers and Possibilities (and Sharks)!
Greetings from Rotterdam! Last week, we were networking at the Semantic MediaWiki Conference at the shark room in the Zoo. Really nice location! Content wise we learnt a lot and brainstormed about new features for WebMo, our Software for Monitoring and Collaboration.
Flexible Tools, Flexible Work Environments
(UPDATE: MAY 2018)
I had previously written about the wonders of working remotely (see here). It has been almost 2 years since I took on this approach, so I thought I should provide an update on this experience.
I know there are several companies out there with very flexible approaches, but to date, I do not know another organization that is as flexible as energypedia consult, in terms of providing their employees with tailor made work contracts. Perhaps this flexibility is what makes our tools great! Not only do we provide our customers with tools that tailor to their…
Organize Your Events With a Colorful Calendar!
Getting an overview of what’s going on in your team is not always easy. How many times have you written down an important appointment in that old notepad of yours or on that post-it note that’s nowhere to be found anymore? We don’t always add all business appointments or events in our digital calendars immediately, and sometimes it’s easy to lose track of things. For this purpose, a very useful feature that we have incorporated to our wiki tools, is the Events Calendar, which helps you get a good perspective of what’s going on in your team. Our calendar displays different events, in…
Forget About Spreadsheet Tabs!
How many tabs on Excel can you actually (and comfortably) work with?
Let’s face it. If you work with spreadsheets, most likely you would like to see few tabs and just about as many columns and rows as your screen can fit without having to eternally scroll down or sideways to see your data (unless you really like scrolling, but I doubt it).
Organizing your projects or contacts does not have to be this way. Wouldn’t it be great if you could use a web-based platform with all relevant databases and then find the information you are looking for through a search mask? Or…
Remote Working for Digital Nomads – How a Wiki Enables Me to Do “Beach Office”
We know there are many people out there working remotely either by being home-based, or as freelancers, or are digital nomads who travel around the globe carrying a laptop with them and work at the same time. Whatever the case, they all have one thing in common: No real fixed office environment.
Does this sound like you? Then you probably know how technology can help you achieve this. In my case, I would like to share my experience and the technology that allows me to work remotely.
A bit of background:
I am a full-time employee who works for energypedia…
Get a Free Copy of our WebMo Brochure!
Simplify your daily work and make it more efficient with WebMo! One of our favorite WebMo tools is the google maps integration. If you are dealing with projects in regional offices, a map can definitely be of great help to give you a bird's eye view of your projects per country.
You can fit as many pins as you need to represent individual projects.
To make visualization even easier, it is possible to change the pin's shape as well as color…
