GIZ TUEWAS

The GIZ’s internal sector network TUEWAS (Transport, Environment, Energy and Water in Asia) is a platform for regional professional exchange and cooperation between GIZ experts in Asia and the head office. With in TUEWAS, a Task Force created an Excel-based toolbox for state-of-the-art distribution grid operation. Its objective is to increase the capacity of grid operators in Asian countries to manage distribution grids effectively and sustainably.

Based on the Excel toolbox provided, energypedia consult created a web-based toolbox on a dedicated page on energypedia.info, the Distribution System Operation Toolbox. The toolbox collates and makes available a library of relevant resources, such as studies, scientific articles, guidelines and other relevant files allowing the end-user to easily find, add and delete files through a user-friendly interface. After the development phase, we promoted the toolbox on energypedia.info, with a live demonstration during the launch event.
