WOCATpedia.net is a wiki based knowledge platform for the World Overview of Conservation Technologies and Approaches (WOCAT) network. The WOCAT network’s wiki focuses on issues related to agricultural Water and Sustainable Land Management. The free and open platform allows practitioners and development experts to share their knowledge and good practices. Users are invited to write and revise articles on technologies, projects and approaches. They may also upload all types of documents to the media library.
WOCATpedia is built upon the basic structure of the former Agriwaterpedia wiki website managed by the WOCAT Consortium Partner GIZ. In 2017, all articles, uploaded documents and registered users were migrated from the Agriwaterpedia website. Energypedia consult was in charge of managing this migration, in the course of which the corporate design and skin were updated as well. We also provided support in content generation and in setting up databases for structured data.
