GIZ EnDev

EnDev is a program in the energy sector, working in more than 20 countries around the globe. A strategic partnership of several countries, giz acts as one of the principal agencies for program coordination. EnDev has developed a Cooking Energy System (CES) Evaluation approach, which takes into account the transitional character as well as the complexity of improving access to cooking energy services.

Energypedia consult supported EnDev’s cooking energy team with the finalization of different tools and guidelines as part of the CES evaluation concept, the preparation, organization and delivery of regional workshops and the integration of CES into the EnDev monitoring system. In addition, energypedia consult supported the roll-outs of the CES in the four pilot countries Benin, Kenya, Mozambique, Senegal.
