Registration and Fees

Participants who book both trainings will receive priority. There are no participation requirements for the results-based monitoring training. But the Excel training requires basic Excel skills (please see sign-up form). Particpants are asked to bring their own laptops with Excel 2010 or later version installed.

Each of the trainings costs 55,000 RWF per person. If both trainings are booked as a package, you pay a discounted fee of only 100,000 RWF. The fee covers:

Please note that the number of participants is limited, to ensure a high quality of training, so all interested persons will first be placed on a waiting list and will be asked to pay to confirm their spot. The payment must be received no later than 19 April 2019 and registration is only considered confirmed after payment is made. Trainer and Language

The training is given by Melanie Uhlen, the Country Director of enerygpedia consult Rwanda. The language of instruction and materials is English.

Melanie Uhlen is the Managing Director of energypedia consult Rwanda since March 2018. She has six years of experience in consulting international development programs as well as methodological expertise regarding results-based monitoring. This was gained primarily in her position in the GIZ (German Agency for International Cooperation) corporate unit Monitoring and Evaluation. Since joining energypedia consult Germany in 2013, she has been responsible for M&E consultancy and trainings as well as the design and technical implementation of web-based platforms (software WebMo) for results monitoring and knowledge management, two tasks she is convinced should go hand in hand. In this context, she is working with various GIZ programs and NGOs on the setup of their M&E systems, for example with the Siemens foundation in Kenya, medica mondiale or Fairtrade International.

Born and raised in Germany, Melanie pursued academic studies in Maastricht, The Netherlands. Here, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in “Liberal Arts and Sciences” with a focus on International Relations and Development Studies and later her Master of Science in “Public Policy and Human Development” at the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance in collaboration with the United Nations University.

Cancellation Policy

A free of charge cancellation  by the registered participant is possible up to 7 days before the start of the booked training. In the event of a later cancellation, only half of the participation fee will be refunded. If cancelling on the day of the training itelf, no refund is made.
